Hello readers and welcome to my post about myself.
I am a 23 year old movie fan, by the name of Jeff, who has latched almost annoyingly so onto the horror film genre. I have tried to set up multiple blogs before, to no avail. I always forgot or lost interest. Writing reviews by myself was always a struggle, I wanted to get a steady flow of reviews but always forgot or just didn't care.
Now I have finally set up a blog and care about the idea's behind it and have good friends helping with reviews. With their help we will get reviews posted and get people (hopefully) talking about this blog.
My movie personal choices are as listed:
"Torture porn". Why? Yes some dumb and pointless films have been put into this genre but the themes and ideas present in the good films are enough to make up for it.
Slasher films. Why? Because they bring me back to that moment i watched the original Scream and said to myself ,"hmm there may be something to these horror films".
Zombie films. Why? Well if you would have asked me years ago i would have told you Zombie films are some of the best horror films, then they got done to death (haha). Everywhere you look another Zombie film or book is coming out. But even with the over-saturation of the genre we get gems amist the trash.
This blog will not focus only on horror films but that is the genre I know the best and have the most information on therefore is a perfect starter point.
