Plot: Mikah and Katie suspect something strange is happening when they sleep. Due to these weird feelings Mikah sets up a camera to record them while they sleep, unaware of the horror they will uncover.

Review: " the scariest film ever made"" the exorcist for the modern horror generation" those are many things said about Paranormal Activity. As many hyped films do, P.A. has a flip side. " slow and boring" as stated by some viewers. Whether your side in this debated issue, one things certain it generated a hype train that rocketed P.A to a critical success.

P.A. does not lose sight of what's scary, less is more some would say. P.A exchanges constant jump scares for a slow but excrusiating build up that when finally releases cause the jump scares to be scary and effective.

The budget for the film was micro thin, 11k to be exact. They use every cent of that budget expertly. Simply but practical effects work extremely well. The only spot the budget shows is in the acting.

As I said many things have been said for P.A and I stand firmly on the side of the group that finds this film scary and good.

Overall : 9/10 a but slow a times but one of the best ghost films this decade.
